Yesterday, April 19, 2024, we needed a new battery. Stopped here and Tyler asked how he could he help. Told him we needed a new battery. He checked the old one and researched for the right battery for our car. Showed us the recommended batteries and let us chose it. Installed the battery and had us on the road in about 10 minutes. I’ve had several issues with my car battery over the last few months, but I had put off replacing it for a few reasons, one major reason being that I wasn’t sure if I was also having alternating issues.. another being money, and then the fact that I have a lot to manage in my personal life.. caring for sick family members, grieving, traveling to help another relative after an operation, and handling more additional matters than i can go into.

Today I told myself I would go get it done but I wasn’t able to get to the store until 10min before closing. While I was explaining the issue and asking questions he offered to test the alternator, then tested it and determined the issue was the battery. The alternator seemed fully functional.

I told him I’d buy a battery, (which I was planning to change at home) but with less than five min to closing he offered to swap the batteries for me.. I wasn’t about to ask him to do either of those things at closing time & was silently planning how I would fit another trip to O’Reilly’s into tomorrows schedule.. But his offers seemed sincere and he didn’t seem bothered or annoyed at all.

Really need to higher employees who know function of parts.
I had brake drums machined here, obviously didn't know how to correctly machine them. Drums were .020" over got them back with statement their oversize/past limit, now , .065".
Bought new ACDelco drums from Rock Auto parts. Should not of been necessary.
So a year later I order a part online to this store. What a mistake. Plastic line is crushed so they reorder. Next day I stop in to pick up line, NOPE, did not come in even though the manager Matthew said it was in? Have to reorder again for following day seriously something wrong in this store. I will take my business elsewhere.
Should of just ordered from Rock Auto with time wasted here.
Response to Oreily; considering my past track record in that store , I have no intention of going back. With that said I'm still waiting for my refund to show on credit card? A week later refund? July 2022 ; just for laughs I looked up a part I need. Oreily is $50 + tax, Amazon $36+ tax same exact Dorman part?
Dec 2023; Need a purge solenoid valve cp780. Buy from here get home realize box is damaged valve plastic is cracked and terminals bent. Turn around back to store. Don't have one can order it be here 3:00 pm. Notice a pattern with my reviews. Years pi_s poor service. Store is .8 miles from my house, should be convenient ?
So I go back at 3:00 no part the two employees are clueless and DO NOT CARE ATTITUDE. April 2024 I need a thermostat, order it online, pick it up box is rough, open it and sensor on thermostat is bent over, nope do not want it. DO NOT CARE ATTITUDE. Manager standing right there turns around heading to the back room? No offer to rectify broken part?
October 2024 , store must be built on burial ground with disgruntled spirits.
Employee took exception to my picking up an online order and him asking for ID. Seriously who is going to have my phone with emailed information on it.
Guy goes off on a BS lecture with no facts, should run for Congress.

They always have what I need and the employees are friendly and very helpful. The manager Steven went above and beyond to help me understand what to expect for the NC state inspection and get my vehicle ready for that.
